installing apps

as root:

pkg_add cvsup-without-gui-16.1h.tgz
rehash
mkdir /usr/local/etc/cvsup
mkdir /usr/local/etc/cvsup/sup
cd /usr/local/etc/cvsup
vi ports-supfile  (add these lines)

*default host=cvsup11.FreeBSD.org
*default base=/usr/local/etc/cvsup
*default prefix=/usr
*default compress
*default release=cvs
*default delete use-rel-suffix
*default tag=.
ports-all

cvsup -g -L 2 ports-supfile

enjoy...
