hi,

i am trying to connect to arcor using fbsd 4.4-release and i4b 1.00.1.
whenever i establish the connection everything seems ok, pap/chap is
functioning, too, and /var/log/isdnd.log says 'switched to state 3' and
i am also provided an ip-address but the remote peer remains at 0.0.0.1:

isp0: flags=8055<UP,DEBUG,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
         inet 212.144.147.68 --> 0.0.0.1 netmask 0xffffffff
         ether 00:00:00:00:00:00

i am using

ifconfig isp0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.1 netmask 0xffffffff
route add default -interface isp0

in my script as mentioned in the manpages.

my /etc/isdnd.rc looks as follows:

system

acctall = on # generate info for everything
acctfile        = /var/log/isdnd.acct   # name & location of accounting
file
useacctfile = yes # generate accouting info to file

monitor-allowed = off                   # global switch: monitor on/off
ratesfile = /etc/isdn/isdnd.rates # name & location of rates file
rtprio          = 25                    # modify isdnd's process priority

entry

name = arcorhdlc # name for reference. This
usrdevicename = isp # ipr, isp, tel, rbch
usrdeviceunit           = 0             # unit number

dialout-type            = normal        # normal / calledback
b1protocol              = hdlc          # hdlc, raw
ratetype = 0 # ratesfile entry to use
unitlength              = 90            # unitlength to assume
unitlengthsrc = rate # none, rate, cmdl, conf, aocd
idletime-outgoing       = 60            # outgoing call idle timeout
earlyhangup = 5 # time to hangup before an
dialretries             = 3             # # of dial retries
connectprog             = "ip-up"
disconnectprog          = "ip-down"

any ideas? also, if i configure isp0 like with 'link1' it doesn't dial
automatically, seems to not recognize the necessity to route towards the
isdn interface.

thanks in advance, regards
