Hi!

I'm in the process of setting up a monitoring system based on mon. One of the
features has to be that an alarm initiates a voice call to the person who has
to know. I use i4b for that. There's one little thing i like to solve.
I've recorded message like "system", "ping", "systemname", "not", "react". These
words are recorded in A-Law format. Using isdnphone i setup a connection and
then cat these words to the /dev/i4btel0 device. It works but between the words
there's an iritating noise. Is it possible to get rid of this noise?

In the archives of this list there's some talk about rsynth to create the sentences:

Has anybody done this? If so, how does it work?

Greetings,
