Hello Paolo,

Thanks for the kind reply. I will try it on i386 and amd64.

Is http://ubi8.imc.pi.cnr.it/~flag/libalias/libalias.tgz the latest tar 
ball? I did not find the mentioned README file there, I had to look at 
it on perforce, but I did not find the fix-base.sh on the tar ball either.

I think I can grab it everything from perforce, or should I try the 
above tarball only with the missing files?
