Hi,

after i connected the serial line to another computer i got it finally 
working.
during the distribution extraction period, i had to "reinitialize the 
media" two ore more times to get the selected parts installed from the CD.
but after that, it simply works.

now i have another problem.
i've build a custom kernel which is working too, but only as long as i 
don't use sysctl(8) with "-a" or as it is used in the 'preseedrandom' 
script at boot time. this stops the whole thing.
plese see the attached file for some details. if you need further 
informations on this, please tell me and i will provide what i can.
