After upgrade from 7.2 to 8 my 3c509b NIC cards will not work.  I can ping the IP address of the card from within the machine.  However, I can't access anything external.  If I run TcpDump, the card will start working.

Reboot after upgrade to FBSD 8.0

Running tcpdump from the console restores network connectivity.
