>Description:
Don't want to make a big deal out of this but I am running 8.0-CURRENT. The console tty0 screen has been filling up with these kinds of messages since I updated to 6.x. It happened again in 7.0-STABLE and is still apparent in 8.0-CURRENT.

I cannot say that this is not defective hardware. This is an old P166 machine that has literally been running 24/7 since 1997 and 2.2.5-RELEASE. It's very stable and reliable albeit slow. The motherboard want recognize big hard drives so I installed an IDE controller which worked with FreeBSD right out of the box for several years now.

The controller card is a I/O Flex PCI Ultra DMA/100 Dual Channel IDE Controller Card, model #IOFLEX-571A. Here is a sample of the messages that have been printing on main terminal. Notice this block happened at 3:02 AM, about the same time that the cron jobs kick off to do the log reporting.

>How-To-Repeat:
The event seems to occur whenever I do large writes to the hard drives. The drives are less than a year old and were purchased brand new. The controller card is about 5 years old now.
>Fix:
Just reporting to hopefully help with the development of 8.0
