Sorry, I cannot boot the problem machines now.
But they use standard (GENERIC) kernel without any modification.
>Description:
1. problem
On FreeBSD 5.? and 6.?, ja-mule-* [1] goes core dump as
soon as run it before making its own window.
On the other hand, on console or on kterm with -nw option,
it works.

Machines and FreeBSD tested are as follows:
i386 + FreeBSD 5.4, 6.2.
pc98 + FreeBSD 5.3, 6.2.

[1] I 've ckecked only ja-mule-freewnn and ja-mule-wnn7.
But in principle, this problem is common for all ja-mule.

>How-To-Repeat:
2. repeat problem
Please rum mule on X Window System. Type
% mule
on kterm, xterm or so.

>Fix:
3. patch
Following patch is available to solve this problem.
If agree, please add both patches to the directory
/usr/ports/editors/mule-common/files/ .

(1) files/patch-nb is essential to solve this problem.
This modification is equivalent to that of editors/emacs.
(2) files/patch-nc is additional i.e non-essential.
This patch will reduce Warnings at making mule.
