The program I used to calculate the md5 of the downloaded iso comes up with
a different md5 than that posted in the download directory, although it calculated the same MD5 for the other two files (disc2 and docs).  

My file manager reports the size of the disc1.iso is 601,229,312 bytes.  I downloaded the 6.2 release from the first in the list of the U.S ftp servers.  ie
