>Description:
FreeBSD 6.2, with a non-GENERIC kernel, running as a guest operating system in VMware is very unstable.

Boot process is slow and there is lot of messages : 'calcru: runtime went backwards from xxxx[1] usec to xxxx[1] usec for pid <pid> (<process>)'.
When it has booted, system's time is blocked and after few seconds system freezes and does not responds.

[1] : some numbers

>How-To-Repeat:
Install FreeBSD in VMware, and use a custom kernel built from /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/NOTES
>Fix:
In the kernel configuration, disable both options 'CPU_FASTER_5X86_FPU', and 'AUTO_EOI_1'
