Hello,

Can you tell me what you exactly try to do?
You installed 5.3 and now want to update to 6.1?

Do you use the sources to upgrade? or are you using a
CD to upgrade? When the 5.3 install is working it -should-
be possible to use a source upgrade to 6.1 (if you include
the proper settings in the kernel conf file).
