X-windows runing cvsup connecting to cvs.freebsd.org trying to get updated sources

every tim i run cvsup i get error needs authorize? Im Logged in as Root
and am trying to get initial cvs sup file using /usr/src/examples/cvsup/stable-supfile
i connect but halts saying root needs authorization?
