i386/72676: telnet client crashes regularly on 4.10-STABLE if interrupted before connection is established

 It also reproduces on 5.2.1-RELEASE
 uname -a
 FreeBSD host 5.2.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE #0: Mon Feb 23
 20:45:55 GMT 2004
 root at wv1u.btc.adaptec.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  i386
 
 Unfortunately, I can't test it on 5.3 at this time
