i386/57881: ripping audio CDs causes kernel panic

 Note:  cd-from device on the IDE ata2 bus. It's the only device on that 
 channel (indeed each ide device has its own channel). Ripping audio cd's 
 worked fine on this hardware configuration with 4.8 6-9 months ago.
