Subject: Removing older releases...
Message-ID: <1254488531.36131.5.camel@bauer.cse.buffalo.edu>
Sorry for the delay on this, I should have done it a while ago.
I'll be removing the FreeBSD 7.1-RELEASE bits (FTP install and package
sets) from ftp-master on Tuesday Oct. 6th 2009. If you like to keep
pieces of older releases please make any adjustments you'll need. I'll
also remove the 7.0 ISO files, I've been leaving two releases' worth of
those per branch on ftp-master lately.
Thanks.

Subject: Getting access to the main FreeBSD mirrors.
Message-ID: <28f938b10910020557l4cd3bfabtb0fd2d40ca3ca5c4@mail.gmail.com>
Dears,
Could you please allow the main FreeBSD mirror from Brazil to sync to the
main FreeBSD mirros. Actually we are syncing from
ftp1.us.FreeBSD.org,
but this mirror is not totally up to date.
As follows below our mirror information, we provide http, ftp, rsync and
cvsup access.
143.106.51.13 - dumper.iqm.unicamp.br -
ftp.br.FreeBSD.org
I already sent an email to mirror-admin@freebsd.org, but I didn't get any
response yet.
Just let me know in case of any doubt or concerns,
Thanks and regards,
Leandro F Silva

He, that's actually ncvsup.FreeBSD.org. I suspect that just got an
IPv6 adress with the rest of the Y! FreeBSD.org systems and nobody
remembered to to hack up netcat :-). We do use netcat on
cvsup-master.freebsd.org so it's a simple copy/paste fix.
I will try to remember to fix that over the weekend. When I forget,
feel free to poke me.

Ok, if you can shoot me a note when you do it I will be sure to look
for it at my next update.
Thanks!

Oh, and yes I did forget :-).
It should be working now (currently allowing 5 IPv6 cvsupd connections
at a time).

Voila!
Connecting to cvsup10.freebsd.org
Connected to 2001:4f8:fff6::30
Thanks for following up on this, nice to have that much more traffic
going over v6. :)
