It doesn't work this way here, But I think I know why, though I don't
know how to fix, am an advanced user on Linux but I'm new and n00b on
*BSD
anyway on Linux I used the both available drivers ipw3945 and iwl3945
in both drivers rf_kill was getting the value 1 (
/sys/bus/pci/drivers/ipw3945/00*/rf_kill or
/sys/bus/pci/drivers/ipl3945/00*/rf_kill ) and 1 means the radio is
off SoftKill 2 is HardKill (The hard switch we have on the laptop),
maybe the wpi is getting a softkill though I couldn't find the rf_kill
anyone knows where I might find it??

Regards
