DVD burner - LG GSA-4082B

Did anybody had success with the above mentioned DVD burner on FreeBSD 
5.2.1?.  I tried to burn DVD-R and DVD+R using cdrecord-prodvd but I keep 
having scsi related errors.  It worked fine with cd-r.

Here is the error I got when I tried to burn on a dvd-r:

In the case above, nothing was writen to the disk.
The same command on a dvd+r burned all the data but failed on the 'fixate'.
