/dev/dsp* & /dev/audio* devices not present

fine too; you will not see /dev/dsp* with ls(1), just open the device
/dev/dsp with some application and it will appear;

what you mean exactly with 'i have no working sound support'?
try changing the values with the mixer(1) command if no sound is coming
out from apps;
