I think that I've exhausted my expertise in the area. You may wish to try a
more specific list, like
freebsd-mobile<http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-mobile>,
freebsd-hardware<http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-hardware>,
or freebsd-drivers<http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-drivers>for
more specific help. There are likely a number of people on those lists
who don't subscribe to -hackers, and they may have more experience in the
problem.
