CMOS Checksum error

I concur. I seriously doubt that this is caused by the OS, I'd
recommend replacing the CMOS battery as that is most likely the cause.
However on another note, i did once expeience a simular problem where
i got the same post error, but it was a problem with memory as the
memory wasnt registered ECC memory, when it was supposd to be, but i
doubt this is your issue. Try the battery first.
