Hello Mark,

Use the MAKEDEV script in /dev .  Unfortunately I don't have a 4.x
system available to look up the arguments for you, and it has been
removed from 5.x since devfs became mandatory.  But the man page
for MAKEDEV(8) on a 4.x system should help.
