HDD questions

One more thing could we realy rely on presensents ATA_FLAG_54_58?
As I find out 0 means "could be valid" (not "not valid") and in ATA-6 we 
could
se that this bit is obsolete? So if word 54-58 are not valid (or may be 
not valid)
doesn't mean that we have non LBA drive.
