If you have any time left on your schedule, maybe you could have a look at 2 
pr's I have filed about the USB stack. Both problems can crash a system 
easilly and both contain a patch to fix it :

kern/59290: [PATCH] attaching more than one of the same usb if_* adapters 
crashes system
kern/51186: pointer arithmatic error in ugen.c
