This is the only probed Ethernet device and it seems rl driver
has already attached to it.

I know that DELL servers can be equipped with an em NIC
optionally, maybe this is the case for your second machine.

You should check the connectors on the back, if there is an
additional TP or SX port (I think the Pro/1000 is SX only).
If your RedHat machine has the SX port, but your other one
doesn't, that would solve the mystery, wouldn't it?
