Broadcom 440x nic

Hi,

There was some brief discussion here in February about the Broadcom 440x nics
(used on some ASUS motherboards), regarding the 520x drivers being used.. has
anything come of this? As far as I can see from cvs there hasn't been anything
committed. I might have a look into it further (if only for my own amusement)
but would be interested to know if anyone else is working on it or has had any
success with it.
