Trouble with gnome session ;-0

Thanks for the advice..

so I went into each directory you list in succession and did (after  
stopping gdm)

make clean
make install <which of course fails due to the old package being in>
pkg_delete -f xxxxx
make install
cd /next/dir

And then restarted gnome.. and I see the same thing ;-(

Did you want me to remove them all first?

I also note that pkg_delete was not able to remove all of two of them.
polkit had some extension files in a sub dir and policykit had some
include files as well...

The greeter log at the re-start again looks like:
