Was your system upgraded from an earlier version of FreeBSD or is it a 
fresh install of 8.1 RC?

I'm seeing the Workspace Switcher problem on an AMD64 box running a 
fresh install of FreeBSD 8.1 RC.

Chris also reported the Workspace Switcher, and he is using a fresh 
install of 8.1 RC.
