gnome-keyring and upgrade to gnome 2.24.2

FreeBSD 7.0 stable i386

After the upgrade to gnome 2.24.2, there were constant errors for 
gnome-keyring:
Jan 11 13:28:03 smp5 gnome-keyring-daemon[99405]: Scheduling hal init retry
Jan 11 13:28:33 smp5 gnome-keyring-daemon[99405]: failed to initialize a 
HAL context: (null)

I went back and deleted the gnome-keyring
then did a make config
and removed with HAL option
then make install clean
That cleared the errors.

Not sure how to correct the HAL errors.
