Firefox 3 ./configure unexpected error

Hello,

my name is Daniele and I am an Italian free bsd 7.1 user. I am trying to
install Firefox 3 from ports  without luck since the last week.  It seems
that something dealing with perl it is not right and I cannot understand
why.

I send you a log from the configure script hoping you can help me to solve
my problem.
