How to exclude directories from gamin?

Indeed it does fix it.  Does this depend on my
/usr/local/etc/gamin/gaminrc, or would I need this file anymore?

   I think this will do the trick.  Use this Makefile, and add this patch
   to gamin, and see if the problem goes away with your config file.
