Hi,

I'd like to use automatic login with gdm for the user "dom" but it's
not working. I just read the gnome faq #23
GDM starts like usual asking a username and a password.

My configuration:

%cat /etc/pam.d/gdm-autologin
auth    required        pam_nologin.so
auth    required        pam_permit.so
account required        pam_unix.so
session required        pam_permit.so

%grep -A 2 security /usr/local/etc/gdm/custom.conf
[security]
AutomaticLoginEnable=true
AutomaticLogin=dom

%id
uid=1001(dom) gid=1001(dom)
groups=1001(dom),0(wheel),5(operator),68(dialer),1002(share)

%grep gnome /etc/rc.conf
gnome_enable="YES"

%pkg_info |grep gdm
gdm-2.20.3 GNOME 2 version of xdm display manager

%uname -a%uname -a
FreeBSD djdomics.sceen.net 7.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE #5: Thu Feb
28 23:55:48 CET 2008
root at djdomics.sceen.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  i386

Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks,
Regards
