Hello,

I have an Intel sound device:

rev=0x02 hdr=0x00
   vendor     = 'Intel Corporation'
   device = '82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio'
   class      = multimedia

I added ' snd_hda_load="YES" ' to /boot/loader.conf and I got sound, I
also can change the volume with the mixer command

----CUT
$ mixer
Mixer vol is currently set to 100:100
Mixer pcm is currently set to 100:100
Mixer mic is currently set to 50:50
Mixer rec is currently set to 0:0
Recording source: mic
$ mixer 50:50
Setting the mixer vol from 100:100 to 50:50.
$ mixer

But gnome doesn't see the device, it only sees an 'Unknown (OSS
