Tracker Search Tool (What the ...?)

Hi,

some days ago I had a look at top and found out, that I am 
hosting a heavily working daemon called trackerd on my sytem.
It frequently occupies about 95 % of my CPU.
Since this daemon belongs to Gnome's Tracker Search Tool, I hope 
someone on this list can tell me if this o.k. or some kind of 
bug.
