A4 paper -- how to change??

I had no idea that the set-up information would be located there. In
any event, I made the change, and it did not work for me, at least for
printing a test file from Evolution (your reply to my email message).
Here's the relevant section from the file as I modified it:
<Option Id="Media">
<Option Type="List" Id="PhysicalSize" Default="USLetter">
It seems to be the right syntax, as USLetter is used farther down the
file. Exiting and re-entering Gnome did not help.
I tried Evince from the command line, and received a slew of warning
messages. Perhaps these will help.
