Upgrading gnome using gnome_upgrade212.sh doesn't work under fresh 6.0/1 system

Hi,

After installing a fresh system from scratch with FreeBSD 6.0 I
upgraded kernel & system using the usual "cvsup, make buildworld, make
buildkernel,..." procedure. My system now is

FreeBSD boxy.mydomain 6.1-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 6.1-PRERELEASE #1: Tue Feb 14 15:08:47 CET 2006 root at boxy.oekb.co.at:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/EJ i386

Since this is a fresh system I wanted to upgrade my ports in a next
step. After cvsupping the ports-tree and going through the usuall
pkgdb -F, make fetchindex etc. I wanted to upgrade gnome by the
gnome_upgrade212.sh script as indicated in /usr/ports/UPDATING.

However when starting the "gnome_ugrade212.sh" I end up with this:

root at boxy# ./gnome_upgrade212.sh
ERROR: FreeBSD 6.1-PRERELEASE is not supported by the FreeBSD GNOME project.
Please refer to http://www.FreeBSD.org/gnome/ for a list of supported versions.
root at boxy#

Has anybody else seen this?

How can I upgrade my gnome-related ports? (portupgrade is definitely
*not* the recommended way)

Thanks much in advance for any clue,
-ewald
