FreshPorts page print/freetype2

Having issues when install freetype2 on FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE

I dl the ports
did this: /usr/ports/print/freetype2
make --

Got this error:

[root:/usr/ports/print/freetype2]# make

*** Error code 2

Stop in /usr/ports/print/freetype2.
