Firefox port question.

Hi.

I am using the latest firefox port, and it seems that the default behavior of the -remote "openURL()" call has changed.

A few months ago, the call: firefox -remote 'openURL(http://www.freebsd.org)'
would open freebsd.org in the visible firefox window.

Now the same command opens the URL in a new-tab.

Is there a way to still use the old behavior?
