Poor us, GNOME developers don't even bother to update the 'handbook' when  
they do a copy and paste from 2.8.x or older. There is no menu editor in  
offical GNOME 2.10 released.

You can grab MarcusCom CVS for ports-stable and install  
deskutils/menueditor. ports-stable is a stable version that will keeping  
up to date when ports tree is freeze.
