Problems with gnomesystemtools-1.2.0_1

Hi,

 I'm having some problems with gnomesystemtools,  when I run any tool of 
port (services-admin, shares-admin,...),  it requests the root password, 
after I enter the password, the program freezes. Is this a known error ? 
How to fix ?
