That worked! Thanks very much.
I used portupgrade, which got rid of flashplugin-firefox-0.4.12_1 and installed
flashplugin-mozilla-0.4.13 instead. about:plugins still thinks it's supposed to
use flashplugin-firefox-0.4.12_1, but my problem site now doesn't crash firefox
and I appear to be able to view SWFs, etc. now.
