problem with pkg-config for gtk_-2.0

The brokeness of bpm comes from the following:

bsd# pkg-config --libs gtk+-2.0
-Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/local/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lgtk-x11-2.0

I don't know where this stuff comes from, I just got this from tracing
the debug make output...
