Gnome upgrade on FreeBSD-5.3Stable fails with desktop-file-utils build failure

Hello,
I'm attempting to upgrade to Gnome-2.8 on a FreeBSD-5.3Stable machine, but the upgrade fails with one port failure, desktop-file-utils.

I've attempted to use portupgrade (-f) to check to see if its buildable on its own, this fails as well:
