I fetched from mirror.ac.uk (aka mirrorservice) earlier today and speed
were around ~1 MB/s. Looks like your connectivity to Europe sucks. Feel
free to redefine MASTER_SITE_GNOME in your /etc/make.conf to the mirror
that works best for you.
