Hummm... Here it is the "ldd /usr/X11R6/bin/nautilus" output:

ldd /usr/X11R6/bin/nautilus|grep pango

        libpangoxft-1.0.so.399 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libpangoxft-1.0.so.399

/usr/X11R6/lib/libpango-1.0.so.399 (0x289c0000)

As you can see, all referent to "pango" is set to 1.x. I can't see with
clarity is refer to pango 1.2 or 1.4.
The pango port I have installed in my machine is "pango-1.4.0".

Could I help you with any other "thing"?
