gnome failure to start

Well, I just rebooted with

clear_tmp_enable="YES"

in /etc/rc.conf, and gnome wouldn't start until I re-created
/tmp/.ICE-unix. Windowmaker did start. This is definitely different
behavior than I saw yesterday. Arguably, this is not a gnome problem,
however.

   That happened to me once awhile ago. I believe I just recreated the
   .ICE-unix directory myself and then assigned the correct access bits.

   drwxrwxrwt  2 root   wheel     512 Dec 20 21:07 .ICE-unix

   I just finished upgrading to 6.8.1 an hour or so ago.
