What do you mean by, "die?"  Does it crash with a core dump or crash
dialog?  If so, we will need to see s stack trace with symbols.  Also,
if you are tracking -CURRENT or -STABLE, your libgtop2 may be out of
sync with the OS.  Try rebuilding it.
