Normally, I'd agree with this.., however there are other posts on
gnome at freebsd.org with folks having problems with fresh installations of
Gnome-2.4 as well.
This is my third failure (having had the maintainer recommending to "try
it again" after the second PR I submitted) here.., and I'd prefer to
wait until the maintainer comes back with a suggestion or two.
