Ok, I just find out that uuidgen is command and was new in 5.0... I
guessed check in 'man uuidgen' and it's there.. :-) So.. I guess you have
4.x or maybe buggy version in old 5.x? I have 5.1-CURRENT a day before new
ATAng went in the tree.

man uuidgen:
==================================
[...]
HISTORY
      The uuidgen command first appeared in FreeBSD 5.0.
==================================

I guess, it won't work in 4.x then? Does anyone know what command I can
replace from uuidgen to? It is in the IconSet.py around 131 line.

Cheers,
Mezz
