marcusmerge not removing old ports?

Hi,
does the marcusmerge script not remove old ports?
For example, fontilus is no longer part of Marcus' CVS tree, but since
it was merged into my /usr/ports tree in the past, it is still there.
What's the correct procedure to get rid of such old ports?
"rm -rf /usr/ports" and cvsup everything from scratch?
If so, maybe adding a list of outdated ports at the top level of the CVS
tree would make sense, together with an option to have marcusmerge
remove all entries in said file on merging.
Thanks,
Lars
