GDM2 no longer works with -current

I ran a ktrace on the process.  It seems to make a lot of calls
to gettimeofday but maybe that is not unusual.  It also reads
/etc/pam.d/other after reading /etc/pam.d/gdm.  Should that be?  It
seems like the information in /etc/pam.d/gdm should be sufficient.
